Client Brief.

I had the chance to collaborate with the awesome folks at Greenpeace China and was challenged to design and animate a logo to serve as the visual opening of a short documentary series about remarkable people acting for positive change.

This serie was named 绿+ (Green+)

My idea was to recycle a simple piece of paper and fold it in order to create the character 绿 (chinese for “green“). It symbolises that anybody by doing something small and maybe imperfect can create something beautiful and meaningful.

This simple animated word became part of a modular identity system being use as a simple overlay on the opening sequence of each documentary episode.
