A documentary by Jérémie Descamps and Frédéric Henriques, China, 2015, 26’ (4 short episodes preview)
« CCMMP - the Contemporary China Mobility, Memory and Perspective project » presents the advance of a multidisciplinary research project within which researchers, artists and anonymous individuals focus on mobility evolutions and its representations in China over time. The way people move influences the structure of any society. Daily and recreational mobility, tourism or even life migration are shaping different ways of living and organizing different types of social networks. How are these practices conveying the population’s memories, dreams and hopes in today’s China?
This project has been funded and scientifically and artistically supervised by the Mobile Lives forum, a research and prospective institute created by SNCF to prepare for the mobility transition
